The BKF M16A2 14.5″ quad rail 5.56 NATO rifle is part of B. King’s Firearms’ Retro Series, combining the iconic M16A2 profile with enhanced modularity. Built around forged 7075-T6 aluminum receivers with period-correct markings, this rifle preserves the classic military appearance while adding modern utility.

This carbine features a 14.5″ chrome-lined 4150 chrome moly vanadium barrel with a 1:7 twist rate and carbine-length gas system. An extended A2 flash hider is permanently pinned and welded to achieve a legal barrel length exceeding 16 inches, allowing use on a standard lower receiver without NFA registration. The non-F-marked front sight base and A2 rear sight assembly maintain authentic M16A2 configuration.

Unlike fixed-handguard retro builds, this model is equipped with a two-piece drop-in quad rail, providing mounting capability for lights, optics, and accessories while retaining compatibility with the delta ring and front sight base. Additional components include a nitride-finished M16 bolt carrier group with MPI/HPT testing, mil-spec fire control group, CQB stock and grip, and standard carbine furniture.
