The BKF M16A2 14.5 Inch Quad Rail Retro 5.56 Rifle FDE is part of B. King’s Firearms’ Retro Series and blends period-correct M16A2 styling with enhanced modularity. This configuration adds a drop-in quad rail handguard while retaining the classic silhouette favored by collectors and shooters alike.

At the core is a 14.5″ chrome-lined 4150 chrome moly vanadium barrel with a 1:7 twist rate and carbine-length gas system. An extended A2 flash hider is permanently pinned and welded to achieve a legal barrel length exceeding 16 inches, allowing use on a standard lower receiver without NFA registration. The non-F-marked front sight base and A2 rear sight assembly preserve authentic M16A2 sight alignment.

The forged upper and lower receivers are machined from U.S.-sourced 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in Magpul FDE Cerakote. Additional components include a nitride M16 bolt carrier group with MPI/HPT testing, mil-spec fire control group, M4-style stock and grip, and a two-piece drop-in quad rail that allows mounting of lights, grips, or accessories.

Each rifle is assembled and test-fired in the USA using BKF components, offering a reliable retro-inspired rifle with modern adaptability.
