The BKF M16A2 14.5″ 5.56 NATO retro rifle is part of B. King’s Firearms’ Retro Series and combines period-correct M16A2 configuration with a distinctive M81 Woodland Cerakote finish. This build preserves the classic military profile while adding modern corrosion resistance and a camouflage pattern inspired by historic U.S. service rifles.

At the core of the rifle is a 14.5″ chrome-lined 4150 chrome moly vanadium barrel with a 1:7 twist rate and carbine-length gas system. An extended flash hider is permanently pinned and welded to exceed 16 inches overall barrel length, allowing the rifle to remain compliant for use on a standard lower receiver without NFA registration. The non-F-marked front sight base and A2 rear sight assembly maintain authentic M16A2 sight alignment.

The forged upper and lower receivers are machined from U.S.-sourced 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in M81 Woodland Cerakote. Additional components include a chrome-lined phosphate M16 bolt carrier group with MPI/HPT testing, mil-spec fire control group, and standard carbine stock and grip with double heat shield handguards.

Each rifle is assembled and test-fired in the USA using BKF components, making it an excellent choice for collectors and shooters seeking a retro-inspired rifle with modern reliability.
