The BKF M16A2 14.5 Inch Retro 5.56 Rifle OD Green is part of B. King’s Firearms’ Retro Series, pairing period-correct M16A2 configuration with a rugged Magpul OD Green Cerakote finish. This build preserves the classic military silhouette while adding modern corrosion resistance and a distinctive field-ready appearance.

At the core is a 14.5″ chrome-lined 4150 chrome moly vanadium barrel with a 1:7 twist rate and carbine-length gas system. An extended flash hider is permanently pinned and welded to exceed 16 inches overall barrel length, allowing use on a standard lower receiver without NFA registration. The non-F-marked front sight base and A2 rear sight assembly maintain authentic M16A2 sighting geometry.

The assembled upper and lower receivers are forged from U.S.-sourced 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in Magpul OD Green Cerakote with classic “Property of US Govt.” markings and A2-style selector engravings. Additional components include a chrome-lined phosphate M16 bolt carrier group with MPI/HPT testing, mil-spec fire control group, and standard carbine stock and grip with double heat shield handguards.

All BKF components are manufactured in the USA, and complete uppers are headspaced and test-fired prior to shipping for consistent performance.
