At Coastal Firearms, we stand behind the quality of our products and are committed to your satisfaction. Due to the nature of firearms sales and compliance with federal and state laws, we maintain a strict but fair returns and refund policy outlined below.

Firearms Sales (All Gun Purchases)

Due to federal regulations, all firearm sales are final once the firearm is transferred to you by your chosen Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL). We cannot accept returns or issue refunds for firearms that have been transferred, regardless of use or condition.

Important:

  • If you are denied during a background check, or fail to pass the NICS check, a 15% restocking fee will apply, and shipping is non-refundable.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that you can legally own the firearm in your state before purchase.

Returns for Accessories, Apparel, and Non-Firearm Products

We accept returns on unopened, unused accessories and non-serialized items within 30 days of the delivery date.

Eligible items may include:

  • Holsters
  • Optics
  • Range gear
  • Clothing
  • Magazines (where legal)

Conditions:

  • Items must be in original packaging, unused, and in resellable condition
  • Customer pays return shipping
  • A 10% restocking fee may apply

Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns on:

  • Firearms (after FFL transfer)
  • Ammunition
  • Clearance items
  • Opened or used items
  • Custom orders
  • Gift cards

Defective or Damaged Items

If your product arrives defective or damaged, notify us within 3 days of delivery at info@coastalfirearmsllc.com with photos and a description of the issue. We will arrange for:

  • Manufacturer warranty support, or
  • Exchange or refund, at our discretion

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after the return is received and inspected.

How to Start a Return

Email us at info@coastalfirearmsllc.com with:

  • Order number
  • Item(s) you want to return
  • Reason for return
  • Photos (if damaged or defective)

We will reply with instructions and return authorization if applicable.

Note on Legal Compliance

All returns must comply with local, state, and federal laws. Coastal Firearms reserves the right to deny any return that appears to violate legal or safety regulations.
