The reversible, side-folding stock with adjustable length of pull allows for compact storage and transport, while the collapsible Ruger® Rapid Deploy sights ensure fast target acquisition when optics are not in use.

A CNC-milled, Type III hard-coat anodized aluminum handguard with M-LOK slots provides durability and flexible accessory mounting, complemented by multiple QD sling sockets. The 16.25″ fluted steel barrel is nitride treated for strength, longevity, and accuracy, and features a 1/2″-28 threaded muzzle with thread protector to support popular muzzle devices and suppressors.

Ambidextrous controls include a 1911-style manual safety, reversible charging handle, ergonomic bolt release, and extended magazine release. The rifle utilizes Ruger’s proven Secure Action™ fire-control system, combining a protected internal hammer and bladed-safety trigger with a short, smooth pull and positive reset.

Ruger LC Carbine 5.7x28mm additional safety features include an integrated trigger safety, lightweight firing pin, neutrally balanced sear with strong engagement, and a hammer catch designed to prevent unintended firing.
