The Celox EMS Hemostatic Gauze is a versatile 8×8-inch chitosan-based bleeding-control dressing designed for emergency medical services and trauma response. Its unique pre-scored multi-pad configuration allows the dressing to be used as one large pad or separated into four individual 4×4-inch pads for smaller injuries.

CELOX technology works independently of the body’s normal clotting cascade and has demonstrated hemostatic activity in laboratory testing with hypothermic blood.
