Course Overview

A home-defense plan should not begin during an emergency. Families should understand how to communicate, where to go, what to do, when to call for help, and how to reduce confusion under stress.

This course helps students develop a practical home-defense mindset while considering the layout of their home, family members, children, visitors, emergency exits, communication methods, defensive tools, and safe firearm storage.

Students will learn how to build a safer, more organized response plan that emphasizes avoidance, accountability, emergency communication, and responsible use-of-force decision-making.

The goal is not to encourage confrontation. The goal is to help students prepare, avoid unnecessary risk, protect loved ones, and respond responsibly if an emergency occurs.
