The DS-15 Typhoon 12.5 Complete Upper w/ MVG is hand-assembled and individually tested by Dark Storm Industries in Rockledge, Florida. Built around an aerospace-grade billet upper receiver, this complete upper combines premium American-made components with precision machining for demanding use.

A 12.5″ SOCOM-profile barrel manufactured from 4150 CMV steel and treated with a black nitride heat process provides excellent corrosion resistance and long service life. The included color-matched 10″ Typhoon handguard with Magpul MOE vertical grip enhances weapon control and ergonomics in compact builds.

The DS-15 Typhoon 12.5 Complete Upper is equipped with partial ambidextrous controls, including an ambi charging handle and billet 90° safety selector, along with a DSI Mil+ bolt carrier group for smooth, consistent operation. Offered in both 5.56 NATO and .300 Blackout configurations, this upper supports suppressed or unsuppressed use depending on caliber selection.
